Climate Resilience and Sustainability is seeking new Associate Editors to join its growing editorial team.

Published by the Royal Meteorological Society, the journal has recently achieved an important milestone by receiving its first Impact Factor of 4.

With submissions increasing rapidly and the journal continuing to strengthen its reputation and influence within the climate research community, now is an exciting time to get involved.

The journal publishes interdisciplinary research focused on enhancing the resilience of societies, economies, and natural systems to climate change, while supporting progress towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals. It welcomes both research and practice-oriented papers addressing climate adaptation, resilience, and risk reduction across sectors. In particular, papers focus on analysis of current or proposed actions that enhance climate resilience or reduce climate change risks through adaptation.

The role

Associate Editors:

• Manage the peer review process for assigned manuscripts.
• Provide recommendations to the Editors-in-Chief based on reviewer reports and their own assessment.
• Ensure reviews are fair, constructive, objective, and timely.
• Help grow and diversify the journal's reviewer pool.
• Promote the journal within their professional networks and encourage high-quality submissions.

The role typically requires logging into the peer review system at least once per week to oversee manuscript progress and support efficient editorial workflows.
